1. Data Controller

2. Personal Data Processed

• Identity and contact details: name, surname, email address, phone number
• Request details: the subject and content of the message you send via the contact form or email
• Job application details: CV, education and professional experience
• Transaction security and usage data: IP address, browser and device information, cookie data
• Prospective client information: information and documents about your legal matter shared as part of a meeting request

3. Purposes of Processing

• Receiving and responding to your contact and information requests
• Carrying out a preliminary assessment before legal consultancy and attorney services
• Evaluating job applications
• Ensuring the security and technical operation of the website
• If you consent, analysing visit statistics to improve the website
• Fulfilling legal obligations and responding to requests from competent authorities

4. Legal Grounds and Method of Collection

Your personal data is collected electronically through the contact form on the website, email, telephone, WhatsApp and cookies.

This data is processed on the legal grounds set out in Article 5 of the KVKK: it is directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract, it is necessary for the data controller to fulfil its legal obligations, it is necessary for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right, and it is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller provided that your fundamental rights and freedoms are not harmed. Analytics cookies are used only on the basis of your explicit consent. If the information you share about your legal matter includes special categories of personal data (e.g. health data or criminal conviction data), such data is processed under Article 6 of the KVKK on the ground that it is necessary for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right, and within the scope of attorney-client confidentiality.

5. Transfer of Personal Data

Limited to the purposes above, your personal data may be transferred to legally authorised public institutions and judicial authorities, and to our service providers for website hosting, email and form services.

Because the servers of our hosting, form delivery (EmailJS) and analytics (Google Analytics) providers are located abroad, your data may be transferred abroad in accordance with the procedures set out in Article 9 of the KVKK.

6. Retention Period

Your personal data is retained for as long as the purpose of processing requires and for the limitation periods set out in the applicable legislation; it is then deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

7. Your Rights as a Data Subject

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you may apply to the data controller to:

• Learn whether your personal data is processed and, if so, request information about it
• Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in line with that purpose
• Know the third parties to whom your data is transferred in Türkiye or abroad
• Request the correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, and its deletion or destruction under the conditions of Article 7 of the KVKK, and request that these actions be notified to the third parties to whom the data was transferred
• Object to a result against you arising exclusively from analysis by automated systems
• Claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing

8. How to Apply

You may submit requests regarding your rights in writing, in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, to İstanbul Vizyon Park, Bahçelievler / Istanbul or to bilgi.basarici@gmail.com. Your request will be concluded free of charge as soon as possible and within thirty days at the latest, depending on its nature.
