Av. Zeliha Merve Başarıcı

Att. Zeliha Merve Başarıcı graduated as an honours student from Marmara University Faculty of Law and completed one year of her undergraduate studies at Université Paris Cité (Paris, France) under the Erasmus+ Programme. During this period, she studied private international law, comparative contract law, company law, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), intellectual property law and international commercial dispute resolution, building a strong academic foundation in international law.

She strengthened her international experience through a legal traineeship in Romania under the ELSA STEP Traineeship Programme, carrying out practical work in European Union law, private international law and cross-border commercial disputes. She also represented Marmara University as an Oralist at the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Vienna, one of the world's most prestigious international commercial arbitration competitions, contributing to legal memoranda on the CISG and international commercial arbitration and presenting oral arguments before international arbitral tribunals.

Her practice focuses mainly on commercial law, company law, contract law, international commercial arbitration, intellectual and industrial property law, trademark and patent law, personal data protection law (KVKK) and international law. She advises domestic and foreign clients on corporate matters, the drafting and negotiation of commercial contracts, international commercial transactions, arbitration proceedings and trademark and patent disputes.

Fluent in English and with a working knowledge of French, Att. Zeliha Merve Başarıcı closely follows current developments in national and international law and provides her clients with reliable, meticulous and solution-oriented legal services.
